Certified Pet Dog Trainer (CPDT). Trainers with a CPDT designation have passed a nationally administered exam and have demonstrated years of experience working with dogs.
Denver Dumb Friends League. This animal shelter has lots of free, online advice for common behavior problems.

Humane Society of the United States (HSUS). With nearly ten million members and constituents, The HSUS is the nation’s largest and most powerful animal protection organization, working in the United States and abroad to defend the interests of animals.
International Association of Animal Behavior Consultants (IAABC). A professional association for the field of animal behavior consulting. It is involved with the problems, needs, and changing patterns of animal-owner relationships, and helps to ensure that trained practitioners meet the public's needs.
Meeting Milo. Lots of information for parents on a variety of subjects, including teaching your kids the skills to safely meet dogs, how to choose a dog, and identifying important early-warning signs.
